The John & Mary Puleo Celebration Station

John Puleo and Mary Rotellini were high school sweethearts. They married on January 15, 1951.  They had three daughters, Patricia, Anna Marie, and Mary Margaret. They also lost two daughters, Mary Jo and Dawn.

John worked as a laborer and Mary worked in the hospitality industry. They both provided a comfortable life for their family and made sure their children had everything they needed and then some. Their children always came first. Later in life they owned their own business in Carnegie.

Prior to their marriage and following graduation John enlisted in the United States Navy during the Korean War. It was during his second tour that they married.

They were very devout Catholics, very active in their parish, Holy Souls and extremely active within the community being business owners. There weren’t many within Carnegie and the surrounding communities who didn’t know them. It didn’t matter who you were or where you were from, they always greeted you with a smile.

They had five grandchildren, three girls and two boys. Although they are no longer with us, today they have four great grandchildren as well, one boy and three girls. They were always very loving and caring to their family and always there for anyone who needed a hand. They taught their children the very meaning of family.
